Ghost Writing for Mental Health Therapists
Articles and blog posts are an effective way to grow your practice. They illustrate your expertise, build trust with potential clients, and improve your website’s SEO.
You are an expert in your field and excel at sharing your insights with your clients in session… but for some reason when it comes time to write, you just can’t do it. You freeze, you procrastinate, you avoid it altogether.
Where to begin? What should I write about? How do I organize my thoughts? What would potential clients find helpful?
I have been working with psychotherapists for over a decade helping them write blog posts and articles so they can share their insight with the world and connect with clients who are a better fit for your practice.
The Process
PHONE CALL
The process begins with a conversation. We’ll decide on a topic and you’ll share your expertise on the subject while I take notes. I’ll ask questions and offer suggestions to help guide you.
WRITING
I write a draft blog post or article organized in a way that is best for websites. This includes formatting, organizing the information, and using specific keywords to help with SEO. Then I’ll send you the word document.
REVIEW
You review the piece for accuracy and voice. You are welcome to edit it as little or as much as you like. This is your blog post, and although I wrote it, you are listed as the author, so I want you to be happy with it!
PUBLISH
I incorporate your changes and edits, then it’s time to publish the article! If you manage your own website or the piece is being submitted elsewhere, you take it from here. If I made your website, I’ll publish it for you.
- Ghost writing is $150 per blog post and includes a 30-minute phone call and one round of edits.
